ReplyDeleteSo are those who think about the box a subset of those who think outside the box? Or does your dichotomy not include the latter group?

ReplyDeleteMmmm, an interesting question, Julie. I am using 'box' to mean categories. You are using 'box' to mean the usual available options, I think. But your question still makes me think of what categories my TATKOP relies on, and I love to have to think. Those who 'think outside the box' are still thinking in terms of being in or outside of relevant categories (boxes)... whereas some people question the actual categories themselves. If you do this, you may end up rejecting the box (or category) altogether, meaning there is no 'in or outside' the box!! Or maybe the boxes are getting to me! What do you think Julie?
